In Tokyo - It starts from a calico stray cat, she knows and experiences every thing happened in this city.
A homeless guy who used to be a successful man with a happy family. Things changed, he could only made a living by being a ragpicker. That’s when he met the calico cat, a young man who worked in convenient store, homeless pals, and story began.
After reading this book, I was a little shocked and speechless. I absolutely love this book! But I don't know how to start my review. I also like Nick Bradley’s writing style. I’m not sure if this is a common Japanese narrative style to tell a story. Because it’s kind of like the book ”noel” I read before, except ” the cat and the city” is way more sophisticated and richer, and characters intersect in every stories.
Each person's story is independent but related
It's hard to describe my feeling! I recommend everyone to give it a try.

I’m still not sure what the ants mean.
As far as I understand, are they represent someone who complain and judge everything, also being arrogant ? Like trolls who live and criticize on the other side of screen.
In the story, they ended up being eroded by more and more ants (the dark side of the heart & the habit of seeing nothing good)
Detective Ishikawa got a flyer saying “Don’t be an ant.” Does it mean that he turned back in time from the edge of becoming an ant?

看完這本書後，有點震驚到說不出話來
我絕對是喜歡這本書的
只是不知道要怎麼開始寫心得
作者的敘事手法個人很喜歡
有點像耶誕節那本
但又複雜多了而且內容更豐富
因為這本裡多了更多角色
他們之間的關係在各自的故事中都顯現出來
每個人的故事獨立但又相關
好難形容阿!!! 推薦大家去看看

還是不太確定螞蟻族代表什麼意思
就我理解來說，像是只會抱怨的人嗎?
就像活在螢幕另一端批評的酸民
